Legal warranty

Under Leg. 206/2005 (Consumer Code) all products for sale on this site are covered by Legal Warranty 24 months.

According to the 24-month Muto 1920 Legal Guarantee srl liable to the consumer; (the natural person acting for purposes unrelated to activity entrepreneurial, commercial, craft or profession) for defects of conformity not evident at the time of purchase.

The Legal Warranty of 24 months does not apply to products purchased with invoice and VAT by professionals and / or businesses, for which it is Warranty Service.

Lack of compliance (Art. 129)

The lack of conformity subsists quando:                                       

  • the product does suitable for all use to which must serve habitually;
  • do not conform to the description or does not possess the quality promises by the seller;
  • does not offer the quality and performance which are normal in goods of the same type;
  • do not  suitable for all particular purpose for which the consumer if made known to the seller at the time of purchase and accepted by the seller.

There lack of conformity if at the time the contract was concluded, the consumer was aware of the defect, could not ignore it with ordinary diligence or if the lack of conformity derives from instructions or materials supplied by the consumer.

Rights of the consumer (Art. 130 of the Consumer Code)

The lack of conformity which becomes apparent within 24 months from the date of purchase of the property must be reported within 2 months after the date of discovery of the defect.

Unless proved otherwise, it is assumed that the defects of conformity occurring within 6 months after delivery of the goods already existed that date. In case of lack of conformity the consumer has the right to restore, without charge, the conformity by repair or replacement.

The consumer can memorize options ask, at its option, the seller to repair the goods or to replace, at no charge in both cases, unless the remedy requested is impossible or disproportionate to the other.

Any repair or replacement shall be completed within a reasonable time from the request of the consumer.

The customer will have :

    1. Send a written notice to Muto 1920 S.r.l. (For convenience potr also be used section of the "Customer Support" under "Contact") or contact Muto 1920 S.r.l. telephone, stating the product defect.
    2. Follow the guidelines provided by Muto 1920 S.r.l. for the compilation of the practice. Modules and case number will be provided by Muto 1920 S.r.l. at the time of request.
    3. Prepare the product for shipment carefully and enclosing imballandolo every accessory, the instruction manual and everything contained in the original packaging of the product.

All products for sale on this site, as well as being covered by the Guarantee Law, are covered by the Warranty Service.

The warranty of the manufacturer is added, but does not replace, the legal 24-month warranty, however rightly due to the consumer, as provided by law. Duration, spatial extent and mode to enforce this guarantee are reported in form, drawn up by the manufacturer.

Warranty Procedure

We recommend the customer to Muto 1920 S.r.l. to receive the goods with formula "signature with reservation." Keep the purchasing documents and original packaging.
